The kitchen in this house was a small galley kitchen, poorly planned, cramped and inefficient. LP Design re-planned the space, taking in some of the family room area, and separating kitchen work areas to accommodate better efficiency and function. The sink and prep area was moved to the exterior wall, the window was enlarged to let in more natural light and extends down onto the countertop to give a seamless view to the natural landscape outside. A small deck was added off the kitchen for easy bar-b-que access and a wonderful spot to sit with a morning coffee. A large centre island, lots of counterspace, and slate clad fireplace make this family kitchen a favourite gathering space.
